The proposal...

The Project Proposal Thus Far:

Technology today has created a world where everyone is highly connected to one another, but rarely in the physical way. I want to create a space that uses technology to bring people together in both the physical and digital realm. For example, what if you Facebook wall was a real place that you could go with your friends to share experiences you've had with one another? Or, what if you could take this and use it to communicate with people around the world?
This idea is in the early working stages, and very open to both criticism and suggestions. Anything you could add would be highly appreciated!

What we need to consider:

-This project can get away from us very quick if we aren't careful. In the software business, it's called feature creep and it's not good. To participate on this project, you need a specific idea that you are sure you can implement on a limited budget.

-We need to gather some feedback from the review board to see what level of completion we can achieve for a valid project idea. If we need a fully working playground, I'm not sure 3k will cut it, but we can get some cheap PVC and prototype tons of stuff.

-If you come up with a piece, remember that it highly emphasizes one of the main themes from the meeting: collaborative, innovative, impactful.

In the mean time...

If you are interested in participating, go to the enOvation page and get in touch with me via those channels (aka, find my e-mail and hit me up) so that I can allow you to post. Once you have done that, create some sketches of your ideas, or make a blog post with some information about yourself (your interests, talents, favorite color, etc) and we can all start the brainstorming process!
